Games for Demand Service Coming to Games for Windows Live (1up.com)

After introducing the Games on Demand service for Xbox 360 gamers this past August, Microsoft is now ready to begin selling Games for Windows Live titles through a digital storefront. Currently, the only thing you can buy through GfWL is downloadable content for a limited selection of titles, such as Fallout 3

Left 4 Dead 2 Xbox 360 Demo Out, PC Version Today (PC World via Yahoo! News)

Time to get your southern-fried zombie-butchering groove on with the Left 4 Dead 2 demo, available now to Xbox 360 gamers who pre-ordered the game, though the Windows version’s been delayed a hair to Wednesday. The demo pits up to four players against moldering hordes of undead in the first two levels of the cajun-themed New Orleans “Parish” campaign.

Valve gains glitziest supporter yet. Infinity Ward and Activision have chosen to use Valve’s Steamworks suite of tools for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Significantly, they decided against Microsoft’s typically more popular Games for Windows – Live.
